At last, I'm back with a daily quiz question again! :)
What you can see on the right hand side, are the scanned copies of two different Acts, passed during the British Rule, in 1871 and 1935 respectively. I have erased out the relevant portions, bearing the name/ purpose of the acts.

What you need to do is identify the reason or the purpose for passing these two acts by the British India Government.
