nada prouty druze quiz
Answer: It's Nada Prouty indeed. A Druze by faith, she migrated to the USA and after a sham marriage, became a US citizen. Subsequently, she joined FBI and CIA. She was involved in high-profile investigations and special-ops in Iraq and the middle-East for CIA. Ultimately, her sham marriage caught up with her and she was removed from the CIA. About her experiences, she has written a book titled, "Uncompromised: The Rise, Fall, and Redemption of an Arab-American Patriot in the CIA". Some right-wing US authors have used the term "Jihad Jane" to describe her, which, as usual, only shows their absolute lack of knowledge about anything, which is outside the American shore!

For answering this question, you don't need to be a Nobel laureate, but a bit of commonsense along with some guessing power should suffice. The molecule has been in the news for quite some time. Even during the 2012 London Olympics, it has found mentions in the media.

methyl isocyanate gas
Answer: Time for the answer now. The compound is Methyl Isocyanate, which was the major culprit for the Bhopal Gas Disaster. There were some controversies when Dow Chemicals, which took over Union Carbide's businesses and have repeatedly shown their unwillingness to adequately compensate the victims and their families, was chosen as one of the major sponsors of the 2012 Summer Olympics at London.
bhopal gas disaster dow union carbide methyl isocyanate
"Bhopal Disaster" happened on the night of 2–3 December 1984, due to a leak of methyl isocyanate gas and other chemicals from Union Carbide India Limited's (UCIL) pesticide plant. This leak exposed hundreds of thousands of people to the toxic substances, as the gases spread across the areas in the vicinity of the plant. The casualty figures vary widely. Officially, the  immediate death toll was stated to be 2,259 and the final tally was 3,787. Unofficial estimates put the immediate death toll figure at 8,000. They also estimate that a further 8,000 or more persons have since died due to the exposure to Methyl Isocyanate. A government affidavit in 2006 stated that the leak caused some form of injury, deformity or disability to a total of 558,125 persons.

Answer: Yes, indeed! This is a WWII vintage model from the Nazi engineering stable. The rocket is V2, which the Germans used to strike primarily British Isles. Answer: This photo was captured near the coast of Normandy in France, on 6th June 1994, the D-Day, during last phases of the second World War. The photograph shows Allied soldiers getting down from the landing vessel in their march towards the beach at Normandy, during the Operation Neptune (popularly called Normandy Landings. Actually, the entire battle plan was divided in to multiple operations and responsibilities distributed to different task groups). After this successful operation, the tide of the WWII totally turned in favour of the Allied nations, as the Axis powers gradually started to lose their hold.
