Here comes a question from a different time altogether, but relevant as of today.

What you can see on the right hand side is a photograph of one of only four surviving exemplifications of the original text. The texts have long been popularly perceived as the original symbol of freedom.

What is being talked about and shown in the photograph?

Answer: The answer is Magna Carta, also called Magna Carta Libertatum or The Great Charter of the Liberties of England. It is an Angevin charter, originally issued in Latin in the year 1215, translated into vernacular-French as early as 1219, and reissued later in the 13th century in modified versions. Magna Carta is Latin for Great Charter. The later versions excluded the most direct challenges to the monarch's authority that had been present in the 1215 charter. The charter first passed into law in 1225; the 1297 version, with the long title (originally in Latin) "The Great Charter of the Liberties of England, and of the Liberties of the Forest," still remains on the statute books of England and Wales.

The photo shows one of the only four surviving exemplifications of the 1215 text, Cotton MS. Augustus II. 106, property of the British Library.

Area 51 is a military base, and a remote detachment of Edwards Air Force Base. It is located in the southern portion of Nevada in the western United States, 83 miles (133 km) north-northwest of Las Vegas. Situated at its center, on the southern shore of Groom Lake, is a large military airfield. nil lohit sunil gangopadhyay
Answer: The author is Sunil Gangopadhyay, one of my personal favourites, and who passed away recently. The novel is Those Days, translated from the original Bengali work, titled Sei Somoy.

The novel is set in the late 19th Century Bengal, against the backdrop of the Bengal Renaissance and the 1857 Sepoy uprisings. Though a piece of historical fiction, it incorporates the major historical characters from that period, viz. Vidyasagar, Michael Madhusudan Dutt etc. and the author has remained true in his descriptions of those days.

Answer: Indianapolis Clowns were the last of the functioning professional baseball teams from the Negro American Leagues era. While still fielding a legitimate team, the Clowns also toured with several members known for comic acts - sort of a baseball version of the Harlem Globetrotters, including Joe "Prince" Henry. After the decline of the Negro Leagues, the team continued operations on barnstorming tours and the Clowns finally disbanded around 1988.

The photo, on the right hand side, is one of the few real ones to have survived the attack of the time. There have been other, more fanciful, clearer and obviously forged photographs of the same aircraft, which have been doing the rounds in the Internet groups and hoax mails, and are described as the ideal vehicle to fight and destroy the Nazi UFO Fighters. The aircraft was designed around 1931 and it was lost during one of the test flights. It's designer was murdered as he fell out of favour with Joseph Stalin during the great purge.

quiz 1 october 2012 question answer
Answer: The answer is Kalinin K-7, designed by Konstantin Kalinin. It was supposed to be a heavy aircraft, capable of carrying 120 passengers in civilian configuration, while taking on the role of a heavy bomber in military configuration. However, the only prototype crashed killing all people on-board. In 1938, Kalinin was executed as an Enemy of the State. In recent years, Internet e-mail hoaxes have surfaced claiming the K-7 to be the largest aircraft built till date. In the photos, the K-7 is shown fighting even more bizarre samples of aircraft  like a Nazi Flying Saucer.
