How about some Chemistry, which we used to call "Cha-Misti" (Tea with sweetmeats), in our school/college days? On the right hand side, what you see in the top half, is the chemical structure of a molecule. The bottom half shows the 3D representation of the same molecule.

For answering this question, you don't need to be a Nobel laureate, but a bit of commonsense along with some guessing power should suffice. The molecule has been in the news for quite some time. Even during the 2012 London Olympics, it has found mentions in the media.

methyl isocyanate gas
Answer: Time for the answer now. The compound is Methyl Isocyanate, which was the major culprit for the Bhopal Gas Disaster. There were some controversies when Dow Chemicals, which took over Union Carbide's businesses and have repeatedly shown their unwillingness to adequately compensate the victims and their families, was chosen as one of the major sponsors of the 2012 Summer Olympics at London.

"Bhopal Disaster" happened on the night of 2–3 December 1984, due to a leak of methyl isocyanate gas and other chemicals from Union Carbide India Limited's (UCIL) pesticide plant. This leak exposed hundreds of thousands of people to the toxic substances, as the gases spread across the areas in the vicinity of the plant. The casualty figures vary widely. Officially, the  immediate death toll was stated to be 2,259 and the final tally was 3,787. Unofficial estimates put the immediate death toll figure at 8,000. They also estimate that a further 8,000 or more persons have since died due to the exposure to Methyl Isocyanate. A government affidavit in 2006 stated that the leak caused some form of injury, deformity or disability to a total of 558,125 persons.
